Founded in 2010 and ranked among the fastest growing companies in Turkey, IATI entered into a new partnership agreement with Amadeus - renowned software corporation providing solutions for flight details, pricing, reservation and ticketing operations of major airlines and travel service providers worldwide. IATI aims to attain its place among world’s giants by leading the way in Turkey with this agreement.

“LEAPING FORWARD TO LEADERSHIP”

IATI General Manager, Levent Aydın, emphasized their goal to lead the travel industry and “We are leaping forward to leadership with this agreement” he stated during the signing ceremony in France.

Underlining the fact that reservation is not made without checking on internet anymore, Aydın indicated that “Travel industry stakeholders will draw advantage of better service all over the world as access to product is remarkably acceralating.”

LEADING TURKEY MARKET

Reminding that an agreement had been signed on a local scale merely for Turkish market with Amadeus four years ago, Aydın pointed out that the new agreement is global and touched upon the prospective contributions of this cooperation;

“We are the industry leader in Turkey with 20 years experience. Our vision is to invest in technology and carry the travel pattern a step forward constantly. Signed with our technology partner Amadeus, this agreement shall be applicable for all countries where we have operations, currently 29. As far as I am concerned, IATI is one of the first agencies signing global agreement with Amadeus. Now, technology is much more important than ever to meet the increasing demand.”

NEW OPPORTUNITIES, NEW TARGETS

Amadeus Central, Eastern and Southern Europe Director, Lutz Vorneweg stated that new opportunities and targets will emerge following the execution of this agreement with IATI.

IATI has become one of the principal business partners of Amadeus in Turkey upon execution of this agreement.

FASTEST-GROWING TOURISM COMPANY

IATI achieved to rank among the fastest-growing companies within a quite short time although founded in 2010 and managed to enter into Fortune 500 List in Turkey, at its second year of establishment, with its 232,5 million TL turnover, ranking 444th at the list.

Furthermore, IATI was awarded as the fastest growing tourism company in Turkey in 2012 as well. The company’s goal is to become an international brand and challenge leading online travel systems such as Booking.com and Expedia.

15 THOUSAND AGENCIES USE IATI SYSTEM IN 29 COUNTRIES... 7 THOUSAND TRANSACTIONS A DAY...

Over 7 thousand transactions are realized a day on IATI system which is used by more than 15 thousand agencies in 29 countries in the world, registered from various countries ranging from Pakistan, South Africa, Libya to USA. Besides, the target is to reach 50 thousand transactions a day...

IATI’s airlines portfolio offers over 180 scheduled airlines, domestic airlines, regional charters, low cost carriers and private jets. +300 thousand hotels all over the world and over 80 rent a car firms services are offered on system.

“You may provide flight tickets, hotel or transfer products separately through different systems. Yet, it is possible to find all products on a single module - IATI system.” summarizes Levent Aydın, IATI General Manager.
